The fashion industry may have voted for Hillary, but it stands to benefit under a Trump administration.
The fashion-conscious first family-elect’s deep ties to the industry could result in supportive policies, said Susan Scafidi, founder of the Fashion Law Institute.
The president-elect has an insider’s view via his daughter Ivanka’s clothing and accessories business, the Trump Model Management company and wife Melania’s former modeling career.
“Melania Trump has the potential to be a one-woman subsidy for the US fashion industry,” Scafidi said.
