Threatening letters are being sent to ban SRK’s film Raees

It seems that Shah Rukh Khan’s stars are not favouring him. He has been falling in some or the other mess one after the other. He is awaiting the release of his highly deferred flick Raees The film has faced multiple postponements owing to the presence of a Pakistani actress Mahira Khan on the board.

These letters are sent by the Chhattisgarh wing of Shiv Sena. They want to ban the release of Raees in theatres. In Mumbai too, Shah Rukh had to face some legal spats stirred up by MNS. However, Khan settled them with MNS Chief Raj Thackeray.
Trade analyst and film-distributor Akshaye Rathi took to Twitter to share an upsetting picture of the threat letter that he received yesterday, January 10. He posted, “Dear Aditya Thackeray, we have received this threat letter from your Chhattisgarh unit against playing Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. Do you endorse it?” He also requested SRK fans for support. In this regard, he tweeted, “Request all @iamsrk fans to help me bring this to the notice of @AUThackeray. I’m sure he will take action against this nuisance. #Raees” The film is scheduled to release on January 25. Here are the tweets:
